We had some trouble with bogus accounts and spam in the comment section, so we have made some changes.

First the captcha for registering will now be 10 characters instead of 6. We have moved to it being case sensitive and added @ # % as potential characters you may see.

I had to delete many accounts that seemed computer generated. I generally deleted newer accounts that looked to have odd names. I figure on a local site most people would have usernames that looked obviously created by a human.

Sorry, if I deleted your account in error, please feel free to rejoin Kenoshare. I will be looking at bringing the site back up to speed, but I would love some suggestions.

Okay, I have ordered (CASH) from Angel Food. I have received my order in a very organized way. Now, I have to discuss the most important part, the food.

So far, I have not had the time to figure out a comparative analysis of the cost of the food purchased, but I have consumed some of the food.

First, I will discuss the initial impression of the food. The frozen items were frozen, which is a very important point. Of the frozen foods, I found the OJ concentrate to be from TJ Farms, which is a brand found at Woodman's that I have used in the past and is a great value.

I try my best to get value from my grocery choices and one of the important values is that the food meets my own nutritional requirements.

I try to avoid trans fat and aluminum, which for anybody who uses tortillas knows the vast majority have both trans fat and aluminum leavening agents.

Since I use them for Mexican dishes, wraps and other delicious creations, I usually have some around the kitchen all the time.

Today was pick up day for Angel Food Ministries. I showed up early, 7AM, and helped with unloading the truck. There was a nice group of people dedicated to making sure things went smoothly.

After the truck was unloaded, a few churches had their food pulled first. They had very large orders and it was good to get them finished and on their way to those who had ordered them.

I have made my order, they take food stamps, money order or cash. I found the staff to be very helpful and cheerful. The ordering is pretty simple and Saturday, the 26th, I will be picking up the order. I will finish my review them

Another way to save money is to use the services of the Angel Food Ministries program. It is a religious sponsored program geared to get food at the best prices. I hope to try it next month, so I can report on how it went. I did try to compare prices with local stores and they seem to be closer to ALDI than the other retailers. It does seem to be a great deal. Like I said, I will try it next month, so I may offer an opinion on this program.

As an option to enhance security, I have activated OpenID for use as a login option on Kenoshare.com. The benefit is, as our site does not use https to login, you may associate an OpenID site with your account. When you login, that site will be used to authenticate you and you will get access to our site. You may still choose to use your regular login, but I offer this as an option.

If, you ever need cables for your computer, VCR, DVD player, stereo system, car audio system or electronic equipment, Chester Electronic Supply Company on Sheridan Road, just south of 75th Street is the place to go to first.

This is not a paid advertisement, either. I use them for they are a local gem. I can not imagine how other towns survive without a store like Chester's.

Big box stores and the office stores can charge up to $40 for a quality firewire cable, my friend and I checked out Chester's and found a high quality one for about $12 bucks.
